All about Archipelago
Arrival in Turku, where we start our luxury cruise. We will experience the wonderful archipelago and visit the lighthouse island of Loistokari, where coffee and tea are served with snacks.
The journey takes us through hundreds of islands, to an old fishermen’s village. In this village - called Mama’s Pocket - which has been awarded as the best destination in Finland, we will learn about the life of the ancient fishermen. We will prepare the food with local fresh fish and many other ingredients from the sea and the forests around the village. After the delicious meal we will visit the traditional saunas. We can try the biggest smoke sauna of the world, with space for 124 people, and enjoy the warm-water tubs in the open air spa, as well as swimming in the sea.
We will sleep in the heavenly peace of the island and experience the delicious breakfast with many local specialities – in the fishermen’s hut or even on the beach.
After breakfast we move on to Kultaranta Resort, a new and very comfortable golf hotel nearby. A guided fun golf activity is arranged on the hotel owned golf course, with fantastic views on the archipelago. In the afternoon we visit the unique garden of Kultaranta, the official summer residence of the President of Finland. Dinner will be served at a traditional restaurant in the little, cosy town Naantali. After dinner we will return to Kultaranta Resort, to the luxury hotel rooms and furnished apartments, for overnight.
Next morning, after breakfast, we will continue the Archipelago trip back to Turku, the oldest city Finlands. During the guided city tour we will see the castle and many other interesting places. The programme ends in Turku after the sightseeing tour.
