KOKOO is a place in Turku where all ages can come to create and build. 1000 kg of LEGO® pieces provide the tools for the adventure of your imagination – create something incredible, leave it on display for others to admire or buy to take home and enjoy! Here, you can build all day long.
When to go: Open from Sunday to Friday from 12pm–6pm and Saturdays from 11am–6pm. KOKOO is open almost every day of the year, but go to KOKOO’s website to check exceptions.

Flame Jazz at Café Tiljan
Flame Jazz brings three atmospheric evening concerts to the theatre. Hear great performers in Café Tiljan at Åbo Svenska Teater.
When to go: Fridays 9 Feb, 6 Apr and 4 May at 10pm
Public Skating at Varissuo Ice Hall
Varissuo Ice Hall is open for public skating, every weekday, free of charge. The public sessions are restricted to skating only, making the sessions suitable for the whole family. All skaters need to bring their own skates.
When to go: Weekdays 8 Jan–6 Apr 1.45pm–2.35pm
The Turku University Botanical Garden on the island of Ruissalo is both a centre for scientific research and a public showcase for the fascinating world of plants. The collection in the outdoor and indoor gardens includes over 5000 species and varieties.
When to go: Tue–Sun, outdoor garden 8am–8pm and greenhouses 10am–5pm

Kylämäki Village Artisan Tuesdays
The Artisan Tuesdays at Kylämäki Village are suitable for all ages, providing the opportunity to try out various handicrafts. The theme for Artisan Tuesdays changes every month. Pre-registration is not required.
When to go: Tuesdays 9 Jan–29 May 1pm–5.30pm
8th Turku Biennial
The 8th Turku Biennial is held at the Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova museum and in Galleria Å. Organised now for the eighth time, the Turku Biennial presents work from 16 artists working in Finland. All exhibition pieces are receiving their first public viewing.
