In Turku and the Southwest-Finland region it's easy for the traveller to get around in his or her own vehicle, as well as on public transportation. Cities and towns have an efficient public transportation system, and longer distances can be covered in the comfort of long-distance buses and trains. In addition, there is an international airport and passenger ferry harbour in Turku.

Our beautiful archipelago is also easily accessible to the visitor, either by road or by ferryboat and connecting vessels. The furthest tip of a peninsula can be reached by a boat taxi.

The Turku region offers comprehensive public transport services. The Turku region’s Föli public transportation offers ticket prices at a flat rate regardless of journey length, throughout Turku, Kaarina, Raisio, Lieto, Naantali and Rusko.

The best way to visit Turku and the Turku region is with a 24h travel ticket, which you can purchase from aboard a Föli bus for €7.50. Single tickets are also sold on buses: adult tickets are €3 and children under 15 years €1.50, under 7 years can travel free of charge when accompanied by a paying passenger or person transporting a child in a pushchair.

Föli tickets can also be purchased as a mobile ticket. On the mobile app you are able to purchase single tickets and travel tickets of varying durations. A flat rate is in force throughout the Föli region (Turku, Kaarina, Raisio, Lieto, Naantali, Rusko) so the price is the same regardless of journey length.
